Is what your eating setting you up for successful fat burning?
Have you ever had a super busy day at work or doing whatever and you look up and its 5pm and you forgot to eat all day. That happens to me quite often, so I have been supplementing some meals when I am super busy w an easy Level 1 shake to keep me anobolic throughout the day.
If you are not consuming about 25ish grams (for an active person min intake .8-1.1 x body weight= protein intake a day ÷ by 6 meals) COMPLETE PROTEIN SOURCE (have all essential amino acids in them) every 2 1/2-3 hours you are catabolic burning muscle for energy. When you have your protein on time you stay anabolic burning FAT, this is black n white u are anabolic or u r catabolic. So if you are skipping meals or just eating a fruit at your time to eat you are not successfully setting your body up to burn fat. So every single meal all 6 should have protein in them to keep you burning fat all day. I just want to make that clear we are either burning fat or muscle for energy. I dang sure don't want to be burning my lean muscle I work hard for because i'm skipping meals or not having a protein source every 3 hours. So if you are not seeing results this could be why!!!
Complete Protein sources i recommend:
Whole foods animal sources have highest amino acids in them; dairy, eggs, chicken, beef... If i cant have hole foods A low temp micro-filtrated whey protein isolate shake in powdered form ie like level 1 from 1st Phorm check it out! This protein has a slow digestion rate mimicking a whole food with 24 gram protein, 2g sugar and only 5g carbs, my favorite part is all the flavors are so good its like a sweet treat instead of s meal. If i cant have a whey shake in powdered form (which is super easy and no reason why you can't have a shake unless you forgot your protein at home) I would have a pre made protein shake like you can buy from a convenient store and If i can't have a pre made shake then I would have A protein bar- last resort!
